How I can help
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I use a range of techniques, depending on what might work for you. In our first session, we can explore any preferences you have for the approach we take.
If you would like to find out more, I offer a free 20-minute phone call to start with. We can use this to talk about why you are looking for counselling, how we could work together and practical things like confidentiality. It’s a chance for you to get a sense of how I work as a counsellor and whether we are a good fit.
After that, if we agree to go ahead, I would typically offer an initial six sessions, at the end of which we can discuss next steps.
Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place at the same time every week.
Many of us find it hard to talk about how we’re feeling deep down, and above all I hope to provide a place where you can do this, in confidence and without being judged.

About me
I trained to be a counsellor at WFP and The University of East London and have a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have worked for mental health organisations for almost ten years, including YoungMinds and the National Academy for Social Prescribing. I have also volunteered for Samaritans, supporting people with a wide range of issues, including thoughts of suicide.
I see clients with a wide range of ages, backgrounds and experiences. From my own professional background, I am familiar with some of the challenges of working in professional roles in London - including communications, PR, charity, civil service and leadership roles - and some of my clients come to me because of this experience.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and follow their ethical framework.
